General Dynamics Awarded $46 Million U.S. Navy Contract to Provide Education and Training Services
FAIRFAX, Va. – General Dynamics Information Technology, a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), has been awarded a contract by the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office to provide education and training products as well as support services for the Naval Education and Training Professional Development and Technology Center (NETPDTC). The contract has a total potential value of $46.3 million over five years if all options are exercised. Under the contract, General Dynamics will provide the U.S. Navy, as well as other Department of Defense (DOD) agencies that utilize NETPDTC, technical support for training programs and other critical development initiatives to meet requirements for fleet and shore commands. General Dynamics will provide support for training requirements that include: print-based materials, interactive multimedia instruction (IMI), video, digital video disc, interactive electronic technical manuals, electronic classrooms, distance learning, process mapping, simulation, and gaming and needs assessments.
The General Dynamics-led team includes John C Bucelato, LLC of Yorktown, VA as a sub-contractor under the NETPDTC contract.

effective 1 June 2006 to 4 April 2009 with two award term options
under contract number N00178-06-R-4781. The JCB LLC Team under this
contract includes Whitney, Bradley & Brown, Inc., Sierra Management
and Technologies, Inc., Defense Management Consulting and J.D. Moore
& Associates.
